Artelo is a hotel that invites you to discover Kennett Square, PA through an artistic lens. There’s 14 guest rooms that feature original artwork by a collection of diverse regional talent. This is a site-specific mural enveloping viewers in the serenity of a calm, airy day. Release invites them to step into–or even sleep among–the clouds. The underpinning of the work are questions about the delicate balance between play and responsibility regarding our environments. While releasing balloons may seem captivating, they can pollute remote places and endanger wildlife. This mural aims to inspire contemplation of our complex relationship with nature and wonder
